Free trade agreement with Mercosur states

The Federal Council has approved the dispatch on the free trade agreement between fellow EFTA states Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway and the Mercosur nations Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay. Parliament will discuss it later this year.

Crans-Montana

Tragedy in Crans-Montana

The Swiss government is proposing CHF 50,000 as a federal contribution for each critically-injured victim and for the families of each person killed in the Crans-Montana fire. It has asked Parliament to approve the funds.
